The musical luggage of Gerard Schoren is a colorful blend: he played in a pop group, studied classical guitar, played Cuban son and Argentine tango, and sang in a close-harmony quartet. In the Oude Muziek Koor, he sang renaissance, baroque and contemporary music.
He plays the double-bass in symphony orchestra Nederlands Begeleidings Orkest and the orchestra Ensemble Conservatoire.
He is the conductor and arranger of worldmusic-choirs like Wagenings Volkooren and the choir Medeklinkers. And more he teaches (singing) workshops.
